 The most important thing in my life is definitely my family! I call my mom Sonia and my sister Samantha at least once a week. The first thing I want to know is how our dog Maude is.  Unfortunately I have to work so much at the moment that I rarely see them… Years ago I thought that the writer Harry Bloom was my father. He died when I was 4 years old. But when I was on holiday with my mom when I was 13, she told me that Colin Stone was my biological father. But I’m seldom in contact with him. And than there’s my girlfriend Kate Bosworth, of course!

When I was younger I wanted to become a professional footballer – but I wasn’t good enough… Today I’m a fan of Manchester United. Since David Beckham is with Real Madrid, I really like them as well. Apart from that I love fast kinds of sports like bungee jumping, biking and surfing. And I recently started collecting antiques.

I bought my first record in 1982, ‘Thriller’ by Michael Jackson. I just attended my first concert four or five years ago: Jamiroquai. I still think that Jay Kay is extremely cool! As soon as  I turned 18 I bought my first car: an old, green VW Golf for about 200 Euro. The first time I was in love was when I was a teenager as well: actress Linda Evans from ‘Dynasty’…

My favourite clothing line is GAP, I even did a commercial for them. With shoes nothing can beat Converse Chuck Taylors. My favourite ring looks like The One Ring with an inscription reading, “To wherever it may lead”.  A small lapis lazuli pyramid I always have right beside my bed is my lucky charm.

My greatest idol has always been Johnny Depp! When I heard that he was playing in Pirates Of The Caribbean I nearly fainted…  I also like Edward Norton a lot – I could watch ‘Fight Club’ every day. From the older actors I like Paul Newman the most. Since I’ve seen ‘The Hustler’ I even play billiards…

I’m not really picky when it comes to food, as long as it’s without meat… I mean,  I’m a vegetarian, you know. When I eat out I usually eat noodles or pizza. When I’m in the USA I always order baked potatoes with herb cream. And there’s another thing none of my friends understand: I also love porridge oats  – not only for breakfast, but also in front of the TV in the evening … I usually drink coffee while at work, in order to stay awake.  At home I always have ‘Dr. Pepper’ – lemonade in my refrigerator!

When I was a kid I used to love Stephen King’s ‘Stand By Me’. But since I’m grown up I like more ambitious movies like ‘The Fabulous World Of Amelie’. Earlier I was able to watch TV, but because of my work I hardly ever have time to now. Even so I still worship ‘A-Team’ and ‘Knight Rider’! I’m not really up-to-date when it comes to music. My favourite records are folk music like Ben Harper, David Gray and Bob Dylan. As long as it’s not aggressive!

I have two tattoos on my body: a sun on my stomach and the Elvish sign for ‘9’ on my forearm. I wouldn’t get a tattoo nowadays though! I quit smoking about 2 years ago, but started biting my nails instead in order to gain control of my nervousness. A terrible habit!
