Legolas Day 2009
Happy Legolas Day everyone! Yes today is the day we celebrate Legolas' arrive into to the trilogy (and into our hearts). So what are we all doing to celebrate? I for one are Listening to the soundtrack from the films (the ones I have on my ipod), listening to Lothlorie from the west end musical soundtrack, looking at Legolas as much as I can, wearing my elvish love ring and generally celebrating how wonderful our elven warrior prince is.

Well, since I was just reminded now (at 3:40 pm) it's a little late for a marathon, but maybe I'll watch one later tonight after everything I need to do for tommorrow is done. But anyway:

*sigh* The day Prince Legolas galloped into our hearts...brings back so many memories

And the smile that always gets me!

What could be better than Legolas and Haldir!


Prince Legolas and I have been feasting on hobbit meals today. We finished dinner so we're waiting to have supper. I made lembas(truly, I did.) It's yummy. I forgot to add honey, but it doesn't make much difference.

Legolas doesn't seem to mind!

I've watched the whole of the ext edition of ROTK with the directors & writers commentary. Maybe Peter will add all the little stories about the fates of all the other main characters in the 25th anniversary edition, so we'll see more of Legolas and what happens to him...

To celebrate I've filled the dvd player with the trilogy EE and stocked up on munchies. Two Towers is up now. Should get through Return of the King by a little after 2am. Have fun everyone. Thanks for lovely pics.
